Mr. Harry "Pete" W. Gower, age 83, of White Haven, Pa., died Monday, November 30, 2009, at home.
Pete, was a 1943 graduate of the former White Haven High School. After graduation he entered the United State Army, fighting in the Rhinelands of Central Europe, having been awarded a Purple Heart.
He owned and operated for 33 years Gower's TV repair in White Haven, and was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church and the White Haven American Legion Post #591.
Born in Lehigh Tannery, he was the son of the late John and Lucy (Fulk) Gower.
He is survived by his companion of 31 years, Marjorie (Wieder) Parker with whom he resided;

Brenda L. (Gower) Gehringer wife of Robert both of White Haven ;
One Son,
Perry A. Gower and companion Jim Beglia of Milford;
Sister, Belva (Gower) Meckes wife of Kenneth of Lehigh Tannery;
Brother, Edgar Gower, and his wife Louise of White Haven;
Eight grandchildren
Five great-grandchildren;
preceded in death by his brother, John Gower.
Extended family, David Parker, wife Bekki, their three children and grandchild of White Haven and Susan Parker and Noreen Kelly of Harleysville.
