Harry V. Stewart, husband, father, and grand father age 74, of Brew Street Tamaqua, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at St. Luke's Bethlehem, surrounded by his family.
Survived by his wife of 25 years, Shirley R. (Zimmerman) Mellor-Stewart.
A retired Lineman for Verizon, Harry was affiliated with Trinity U.C.C. of Tamaqua.
Born in Port Royal, he was the son of the late James and Salena (Graham) Stewart.
He is also survived by,
Two Daughters,
Sherry Miller wife of Kevin of Coaldale,
Kelly Dirzulaitis wife of Mark of Coaldale;
Three Sons,
Stan Mellor,
William Mellor and his wife Nancy,
Kenny Mellor and his companion Tammy Steward all of Tamaqua;
One Sister,
Jane (Stewart) MacGill of Landisburg, Pa.;
Twelve grandchildren
Thirteen great-grandchildren;
Preceded in death by brothers, James, Johnny, Paul, & George Stewart.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 9, 2012.
Memorial service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 7:00 PM Tuesday, October 9, 2012, Thomas H. Reinsel to officiate.
