Harry B. Loder, age 76, of Lake Drive Nesquehoning, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem.
A 1953 Clark Summit High School graduate, Harry matriculated to Keystone Junior College, and then entered the United States Army.
Survived by his wife of 52 years, Marlene A. (Drury) Loder of Lake Hauto, Nesquehoning.
Harry served as controller for the former J.E. Morgan Knitting from 1975 until closing. He then worked for John E. Morgan administering his Philanthropic and
personal concerns.
Harry is a Trustee of the John E. Morgan Trust, a board member of the Tamaqua Public Library, and Tamaqua Salvation Army.
A member of the First United Methodist Church of Tamaqua where he served as treasurer.
Born in Clark Summit, he was the son of the late Harry and Helen (Alexander) Loder.;
Also survived by a grand daughter, Bryanna Lee Harvey;
Niece, Brenda Miller, and her husband Charles;
Preceded in death by sons, Harry B. Loder in 1980, and Michael S. Loder on Dec. 6, 1993; sisters, Mrs. Joan Burleigh, and Mrs. Ruth Walker
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 18, 2012.
Funeral Services will be Private
Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
