Harold H. Nester, of Chestnut Street New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 25, 2021, at home while in the tender, loving care of his family at 82 years of age.
Born Sunday, April 23, 1939 in East Brunswick Twp., Pennsylvania the son of the late Henry W., and Ida M. (Steigerwalt) Nester. Harold was also predeceased by; sister, Faye E. Brommer; grandchildren, J.J. See, Jennifer Schwenk.
Surviving are; his beloved wife and companion of over 35 years, Mary A. (Miller) Nester; children, Kevin S. Nester of New Ringgold, Bonnie Waltman wife of Raymond of Llewellyn, Teresa L. Marshall wife of Douglas of Southampton, NJ, Betty See and her companion Dave Zweizig of Girardville, George H. Nester and his wife Sherry of Mountain Top; step children, Arthur Schwenk and his wife Lori of New Ringgold, Lisa Ditzler and her husband William "Rocky" of New Ringgold, Michael Schwenk and his wife Nicole of Leesport. 14 grand children; 15 great grandchildren and sister, Arlene B. Nester of Tremont.
Harold was a dedicated maintenance coordinator for OZ Gedney Foundry in Berks County for over 44 years. A member of Christ Church of Mckeansburg, Harold took pride in volunteering with the food pantry, church events and was an active participant in the Band of Brothers. An avid outdoorsman, Harold liked to hunt, and fish. He was a member of the New Ringgold Fire Company, Strausstown Rod & Gun Club, Roedersville Fish & Game Club of Pine Grove, and N.R.A.
Never one to sit, Harold was always available to assist family, and friends, with electrical work, cutting down trees or cutting grass. His skills and knowledge will be greatly missed.

Funeral service will be held on Friday July 30, 2021 11:00 A.M. from Christ Church of McKeansburg 6 South Race Street New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960. Friends may call in church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services. Rev. Sunny Stock to officiate.
Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania.
