Gwen Jones, age 91, of Conway, SC, formerly of Linwood, Delaware County, PA died Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Agape Senior Assisted Living Facility, Conway, SC.
Gwen was a registered nurse, retiring in 1999 from Bishop's Nursing Home, Media, Pa.
She was a 1942 Coaldale High School graduate and a 1946 graduate of Chester Hospital School of Nursing.
Gwen was Methodist by faith.
Born in Coaldale on June 9, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Jenkin Jones and the late Elizabeth Ann (Williams ) Jones.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, David, John, Raymond, James, Richard, Jenkin, and Carl Jones; sisters, Dorothy Bell, Elizabeth Housman, Sara Evans, Eleanor Horn, Catherine Yeager, Priscilla Winter and Margaret Maloney.
Private Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.
