Grant Ketchledge

Grant Ketchledge, age 81, of Tamaqua, Pa., died Thursday, October 22, 2009, at Pottsville Hospital in Pottsville, Pa.

A WWII Army Veteran, Grant retired from the former Diversified Metals of Hometown, Pa.

Born in Coaldale, he was the son of Charles and the late Clara (Lorah) Ketchledge.

He is survived by his

Deborah (Ketchledge) Linder wife of John of Tamaqua,
Karen Ann (Ketchledge) Wetzel wife of Norman, Jr. of Lehighton, Rogene M. (Ketchledge) Zimmerman of Tamaqua,
Michele Anne (Ketchledge) Knowles wife of Kerry of Kennesaw, Ga.
Tammy Lynn (Ketchledge) Solt wife of Wilson, Jr. "Kenny" of weissport;

Son, Kevin Grant Ketchledge

One Sister,
Daisy (Ketchledge) Pauley of Hecla, Pa;

One Brother,
Charles Ketchledge of Hecla, Pa;

Twelve grandchildren
Eight great-grandchildren;

Preceded in death by his sisters, Fern (Ketchledge)Dahm, and May (Ketchledge) Kuptet; brothers Burt, John and James Ketchledge.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, October 26, 2009 and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2009.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 27, 2009, Rev. Kevin Duffy-Guy officiating.

Interment will be at Sky-View Memorial Park in Tamaqua, Pa.
