Grace E. Klein

Mrs. Grace E (Harakal) Klein, age 78, of Orwigsburg, formerly of Tamaqua, passed away Friday, June 1, 2012, at Seton Manor in Orwigsburg.
She was the widow of John H. Klein who passed away July 13, 1989.
Grace retired in 1995 from Braun Medical, Bethlehem, PA after 23 years of service and later had worked at Leiby's.
She was a member of St. Jerome R.C.C. of Tamaqua where she was a former choir member.
A 1951 graduate of Tamaqua High School, Grace was former Treasurer of the Tamaqua Senior Citizens and a member of the New Ringgold Fire Co. Auxiliary, Older & Bolder Group and the Tamaqua Salvation Army.
Born in Andreas, she was the daughter of the late John Harakal and the late Elsie (Miller) Harakal.
She is survived by her
Three Daughters,
Judith Williams wife of Ronald of Tamaqua; Catherine Romig wife of Wallace of New Ringgold; and
Ann Allen of Indian Springs, Alabama;
One Son,
Thomas Klein and his wife Mary Beth of Tamaqua;
Daughter-in-law,
Cindy Klein;
Two Sisters,
Geraldine Klein of New Ringgold and Gladys Balliet of Lehighton;
Eleven grandchildren
Eleven great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her son, John J. Klein on 7-12-1993; grandchild, Cali Romig; great-grandchild, Nicholas P. Derr; sister, Catherine Hutta.
Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa., where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 6-8 PM and on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 8:45-9:30 AM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 10 o'clock AM at St. Jerome R.C.C. 264 W. Broad St., Tamaqua, Pa.
Interment at St. Jerome R.C.C.C., Tamaqua.
