Gordon R. Jenkins

Mr. Gordon R. Jenkins, age 55, of Fourth Street Weatherly, Pa., died Sunday, December 26, 2010, at Hazleton General Hospital in Hazleton, Pa.

A 1974 graduate of Hazleton High School, Gordon worked for 20 years as a Phlebotomist at North East Laboratory of Medicine, Hazleton.

He was a member of Apostolic Faith Church of West Hazleton.

Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Gwilym and Chloe (Bennett) Jenkins.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cynthia L. (Kimmel) Jenkins;

One Daughter,
Annette (Jenkins) Veasie wife of Gary of Monroe North Carolina;

One Sister,
Carol (Jenkins) Amore wife of Mark of White Haven;

Four Brothers,
Gwilym Jenkins and his wife Nell of Fairfax Virginia,
Donald Jenkins and his wife Jennifer of Syracuse, N.Y.,
Thomas Jenkins and his wife Carol of Wilmington, N.C.;
David Jenkins and his wife Dori of Shickshinny;

Three grandchildren, Tyler, Chase, and Mason

Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries F.D./Sup.

Friends will be received Thursday December 30, 2010 from 10:15 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. at Apostolic Faith Church of One West Broad Street West Hazleton, Pa 18202.

Funeral Services at 11 o'clock A.M from the church, Rev. Jim M. DeRamus officiating.

Interment Union Cemetery of Weatherly.
