Gloria D. Marion-Gass

Mrs. Gloria D.(Snyder) Marion-Gass, age 73, of 8 East Phillips Street Coaldale, Pa., died Tuesday, September 29, 2009, in her home.

Catholic by faith, Gloria was a homemaker. She loved playing Bingo and visiting the Casinos.

Born in Paterson, NJ., she was the daughter of the late Fred and May (Peterson) Snyder.

She is survived by her

Doris (Marion) Martinez wife of Walter of Paterson, N.J.
Ruth (Marion)Rivera wife of David of Coaldale, Pa., Mary (Marion) Martinez wife of Oscar of Paterson, NJ.;

Three Sons,
Robert D. Marion and his wife Patricia of Lansford, Pa.
Roger Marion of Port Richey, Fla.
James Marion of Lansford, Pa.;

Son-in-law, Jose Guzman of W. Milford, NJ

Two Sisters,
Ruth (Snyder) Rollins of South Carolina
Leona (Snyder) Wilson of Florida;

One Brother,
Robert Snyder of Clint City, Fla.;

Twenty-two grandchildren
Five great-grandchildren;

Preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Marion in 1978; second husband, Arthur Gass in 1996; son, Louis Marion; daughters, Mrs. Clara (Marion) Guzman in 2009, and infant daughter Diana Marion; brothers, William and Frederick Snyder; sisters, Mrs. Ellen McGrath, Mrs. Doris Wilson, and Mrs. Matilda Cole.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM Friday, October 2, 2009 and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2009.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 8:00 PM Friday, October 2, 2009, Rev. James C. Bechtel officiating.

Interment will be at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ on Sat. October 3, 2009 at 11 o'clock AM.
