Glennys D. Sanute, wife, mother, grandmother 76 years of age, of Grist Mill Road, Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at home.
Survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Pierce P. Sanute; son, Pierce James Sanute of Philipsburg, PA,; sister, Mary Ann Romano wife of Louis; grandson Michael Brett Sanute, Jr. of Weatherly.
A Weatherly High School graduate, Glennys retired as a C.N.A. from Weatherwood Nursing Home, and had previously worked in the textile industry. Glennys was a member of Salem U.C.C. of Weatherly. She enjoyed tending to her home and property.
Born Friday, January 5, 1940 in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Howard, and Anne (Deubler) Tyler. She was also predeceased by her son, Michael Brett Sanute on April 7, 2015; brother, Keith Tyler.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. (570) 427-4231.
A Funeral service will be held at 7 o'clock PM on Wednesday July 27, 2016 from the funeral home, Rev. Sharon Frye to officiate.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at the funeral home.
Private interment.
