Gladys J. Purcell , 73 years of age of Summer Valley Road East Brunswick Township, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 3, 2015, at home in New Ringgold, Pennsylvania.
Survived by her husband, Thomas J. Purcell; daughters, LouAnn, and Kim J. Purcell; and four grandchildren.
Born Thursday, September 25, 1941 in New Ringgold, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Annie (Henry) Sterner.
Gladys enjoyed doing crafts and working at the Flea Market.
Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Irma Kamp, Mrs. Beatrice Beaver, Miss Mrs. Clara Seltzer, Mrs. Mildred Seltzer, Miss Violet Sterner, Miss Alberta Sterner, and Miss Marguerite Sterner; brothers, Elwood, and Wilbert Sterner.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. located at 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960.
A Gathering of Friends shall occur at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
Interment in Drehersville Evangelical Cemetery.
