Gladys M. Brode

Glayds M. Brode, 91 of Reynolds, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 27, 2015, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale.

Widow of John F. Brode who passed away in 1995.

A Member of the Reynolds United Methodist Church, Gladys was a Tamaqua High School graduate, and retired from the former Atlas Powder Company after 44 years having worked in the match head department.

Born Thursday, October 11, 1923 in Clamtown, daughter of the late Warren, and Jennie (Arndt) Breiner.

Surviving are;

Brother,
Harold Breiner and his wife Betty of Maytown, PA;

Sister,
Mary Moyer of New Ringgold;

Step-son;
John W. "Jack" Brode of Tamaqua;

Many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren also survive Galdys.

Preceded in death by step-daughters, Shirley (Brode) Dwojak, and Nancy (Brode) Barron; step-son, Eugene Brode.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960.

Funeral Services will take place on Thursday morning July 2, 2015 at 11 o'clock A.M. from the funeral home, Rev. Gary Snyder to officiate.

Friends shall be received at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until time of services.

Interment will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
