Gertrude C. Fritzinger

Gertrude C. (Morgan) Fritzinger, age 84, of Catasauqua, formerly of Tamaqua passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 in Allentown.

Widow of Robert R. Fritzinger who died in 1998.

Gertrude was a member of Zion's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Tamaqua, and worked in the Textile Industry for the former Girard Mills of Tamaqua. She was an avid reader.

Born in Mauch Chunk, the daughter of the late William and Gertrude (Jones) Morgan.

Robert Fritzinger and his wife Grace of Nesquehoning,
Daniel Fritzinger and his wife Jane of Tamaqua,
William Fritzinger and his wife Anna of Tamaqua,
Glenn Fritzinger and his wife Lorie of Nesquehoning,
Larry Fritzinger and his wife Kathy of Coaldale,
Leonard Fritzinger and his wife Linda of Andreas;

Brother:
George Morgan and his wife Caroline of Lancaster;

Grand Children, Zachary Joseph, and Carly DeAngelo;

Many nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren also survive her.

Preceded in death by her sister, Deanna Morgan.

Arrangements entrusted to E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 11 o'clock AM, Saturday, October 4, 2014.

A Gathering of Friends will take place at the funeral home from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.

Interment at Sky-View Memorial Park Tamaqua.
