George M. Watsula, 66 years of age, of Tuscarora, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at home while in the tender care of his wife of 19 years, Mary Ann (Regalis) Watsula.

Born Sunday, March 20, 1955 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the son of the late George M. Watsula. George was also predeceased by; stepfather, Bernard Sharpe.

In addition to his wife, George is survived by; mother, Regina 'Jean' Sharpe of Tamaqua; sister, Mary Regina Howay of Tamaqua; nephew, Jason Howay and his wife Jessie, their children, Aneesa and Mackenzie; mother-in-law, Patricia Regalis; brother-in-law Joseph Regalis and his wife Patricia.

A graduate of Marian Catholic High School and Stevens Trade School, George served honorably in the United States Army. A phone technician for many years, George retired from Henkels & McCoy of Blue Bell. George enjoyed days spent with Mary Ann and was an ardent Philadelphia Eagles fan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. John XXIII R.C.C. located at 307 Pine Street Tamaqua, Pennsylvania 18252 at 11 o'clock A.M. on Monday July 26, 2021. Friends will be received at the church annex from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M.

Interment with Military Honors to be bestowed SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. Cemetery Owl Creek Tamaqua, Pennsylvania.
