George J. Prebula

George J. Prebula, 88 years of age, a lifelong resident of Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020, at home on his family's farm in Lausanne Twp. Buck Mountain.Born Friday, March 4, 1932 in Weatherly, Pennsylvania the son of the late George and Theresa (Chippi) Prebula.  He was also predeceased by his sister, Helen Strizak; brothers, John and Michael Prebula.Surviving; his beloved wife of 63 years, Margaret J. (Hill) Prebula; daughters, Margaret A. Prebula of Hazleton,  Mary J. Fisher and her husband Joshua of Hazle Twp.,  Georgina M. Getz wife of Edgar of White Haven;  grand children, Virginia, Josh, Jeramie, Nelson, George, and Mandy; 4 great grandchildren.George worked for Beltrami's in the Eckley Breaker as a welder for many years; however, his true vocation was farming.  He cultivated the soil and cared for the livestock on his multi-generational farm in Lausanne Twp.
