George K. Nice

George K Nice, father and grandfather, age 56, of Andreas, died Thursday, October 24, 2013, at home in Andreas.

George was a 1975 Tamaqua Area High School graduate. He worked at the former J. E. Morgan Knitting Mills of Hometown. George served as the caretaker of Mr. & Mrs. John E. Morgan's personal Estate in Andreas.

He was a member of Peoples Congregational Evangelical Church of Lehighton, and the West Penn Crime Watch.

Many families knew of George's handyman talents and would ask for his services.

He was the son of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Piech) Nice.

Chris G. Nice of Chico, Ca.,
Paul R. Nice of Andreas;

Sister,
Mrs. Debra Althouse of Tamaqua;

Brother,
Kurt E. Nice and his companion Rita Hanson of Tamaqua;

Mrs. Judy Rosa.

Preceded in death by sister, Miss Cheryl Nice in 1975; brothers, Bruce W. Nice his twin in 1972, Samuel E. Nice in 2013.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Rte. 309, 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa. 17960.

Funeral Services will be held at 7 o'clock P.M. on Tue. October 29, 2013 from the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., Rev. Kenneth Ogden to officiate.

Friends shall be received from 5:00 P.M. untill time of services.

Private interment, Methodist Church Cemetery of Reynolds.
