Gail A. Haddad passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Gail was a lifelong resident of Weatherly and lived there with her husband. She was 75 years old at the time of her passing
Born May 26, 1947 in Hazleton, the daughter of the late Russell and Mildred C. (Williams) Hentz-Adams. Gail was also predeceased by her stepfather, Frank Adams.
Surviving are her loving husband of 52 years, Anthony J. "Tony" Haddad; son, Jason Haddad and his wife Jennifer of Canadensis; daughters, Jennifer Shockley, wife of Herbert of Hazleton, and Christy Haddad of Shavertown; and grandchildren Cody and Madison Shockley.
A Weatherly Area High School graduate, class of 1965, Gail received her medical technology training in Philadelphia. She worked for many years at the White Haven Center as well as the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit as a paraprofessional in the Weatherly Area Elementary/Middle School before retiring after 25 years of service. Catholic by faith, she was an active member of St. Patrick's R.C.C. of White Haven. She also volunteered at the Weatherly Animal Shelter for a number of years.
Gail enjoyed reading, cooking and took much pride in her home. But what made her happiest, was caring for and spending time with the people that she loved. She always put the needs of others before her own and was selfless until her last day. She will be dearly missed by friends and family alike.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Patrick’s R.C.C. on Friday July 29, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. friends may visit from 9:30 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be in the Union Cemetery Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
