Franklin D. Clark , devoted husband, father, and grand father, 73 years of age of Lime Kiln Dr., Andreas, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at home while surrounded by his family.
Survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Elaine E. (Heckman) Clark;

Franklin D. Clark and his wife Christine of New Ringgold, James D. Clark and his wife Kelly of Hamburg, Russell A. Clark and his wife Mary of Leesport, Matthew M. Clark and his companion Line' Drobnich of Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, and Timothy H. Clark and his wife Jennifer of Boston , GA;
Brother,
Daniel Clark and his wife Anna Mae of Minersville.
11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
A Blue Mountain High School class of 1960 graduate, Franklin retired from Bell Telephone / Verizon after thirty years of service working in the PBX Division..
A member of Friedens Lutheran Church of New Ringgold, Franklin along with Mark Epting were the founding charter members of the Shoemakersville Lions Club. Franklin was awarded the National Extension Award from Lion's International for his work. Franklin was a member of the Shoemakersville, and Hamburg Fire Companies, and served as Constable of Perry Township.
An avid outdoorsman, Franklin enjoyed hunting and fishing. His dog Spike was his constant companion.
Born Thursday November 13, 1941 in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Kathryn (Grube) Clark.
Preceded in death by a sister, Kay Ann Clark.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 2066 West Penn Pike New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960.
A Funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock AM on Friday September 11, 2015 at Friedens Lutheran Church located at 525 Church Road New Ringgold, Pennsylvania 17960, Pastor Kenneth T. Melber, Jr. to officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday evening, September 10, 2015, at Robert S. Nester Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. , 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania,
& on the morning of services September 11, 2015 from the church starting at 10:00 A.M. until time of services.
Interment will be in Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
