Mr. Frank J. Umbriac,Sr., age 77, of Tamaqua, Pa., died Friday, August 31, 2007, in Tamaqua.
A 1947 Hazleton High School graduate, Frank worked for Sears & Roebuck for 42years, from 1946 to 1988 in the appliance division of the Hazleton, PA store.Upon retiring from Sears, Frank worked from 1988 to 2004 for Paul G. Nester & Son of Tamaqua, PA. He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C. of Tamaqua, PA. A past Grand Knight, and Fourth Degree member of the Rev. Henry Baker Knights of Columbus Lodge# 2711, Coaldale, Pa., Frank also a member of the Schuylkill Assembly of the Knights of Columbus.
Born in Hazleton,he was the son of the late Maurice Umbriac, Sr. and the late Mae (Milora) Umbriac.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, September 4, 2007.
