Mr. Frank E. Huet, age 85, of Ridge Road Andreas, Pa., died Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center in Allentown, Pa.
He was a Graduate of Central Philadelphia High School class of 1935. Upon graduation Frank began working for Ford Motor Company until WWII. During WWII he served with the U.S. Army in the Philippines. Once the Armistice was signed he was one of the first G.I.'s to occupy Japan. After returning to the United States in 1946 he joined the Marine Corp and saw service in Cherrry Point, N.C. and Roosevelt Roads Puerto Rico during the Korean Conflict. His woking tenure carried him back to Ford Motor Co., then Aranbian American Oil Company were he lived in Saudia Arabia, until serving with the Boeing Company until a coporate down sizing. When Frank moved to Schuylkill County he obtained his Reality Lic. affiliating with Higgins Assoc.
Frank was one of the creative minds behind the establishment of two V.F.W. Posts, The General Mac Arthur Post 1507 in Delaware County Pa., and the George S. Patton Post 5069 in Andreas, Pa. He and Albert Cheese founded the Carbon County detachment of the Marine Corp League. Frank was a member of the Lehighton American Legion, and served on the West Penn Twp. Planning Commission.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry Huet and the late Matilda (Steinbeck) Huet.

Three grandchildren; Ian, Erin, Erik Huet
Preceded in death by nine siblings.

Calling hours will be held from the Funeral Home on Monday June 5, 2006 from 9:00 Am until time of Services at 11 o'clock AM.
Interment at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
Memorials in his honor maybe made in care of the Marine Corps Toy for Tot's Program, and mailed in care of the funeral home.
