Francis "Chip" Lutzick, beloved father, pap, and great pap, of Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, as aguest of the Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Tamaqua,Pennsylvania at 84 years of age.
Born Sunday, May 31,1936 in Beaver Meadows, Pennsylvania. the son of the late Peter, and Elizabeth (Sebessi) Lutzick. Francis was also predeceased by his wife whom he adored; Jean B. (Novatnak) Lutzick on Sept. 19,1998; sisters, Irene Skulsky, Marjorie Damiano, Helen Baratta; brother, Bernard Lutzick; son-in-law Andrew Karlick.
Surviving are; sons, Robert D. Lutzick, Sr. and his wife Cheri of Nuremberg; Ronald F. Lutzick of Weatherly; daughters, Mary A. Yagalla, wife of Daniel of Weatherly, Debra A. Lutzick of Freeland, Nancy A. Karlick of Weatherly, Michelle Clark wife of Darryl of Weatherly; ; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Gertrude Lutzick of New Jersey.
Francis retired as a machine operator from General Foam of Hazleton. He was a member of St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church of Beaver Meadows. An avid outdoorsman,Chip enjoyed coon hunting, and was recognized regionally for the field trial success of the Coonhounds he bred and trained. Chip crowned three Grand Knight Champions. Chip liked to watch the Boston Celtics and Professional Bull Riding. Chip also enjoyed tending to the cows on the Hinkel farm.
Private Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. (570)427-4231 Father Peter Donish will celebrate The Office of Christian Burial for the family privately.
Interment will be in St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Beaver Meadows, Pennsylvania.
