Francis Paul "Frank" Fertally

Francis P. "Frank" Fertally, 79 years of age formerly of Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021, at Wilkes-Barre Veterans Medical Center.

Born June 25, 1942 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania the son of the late John C. Fertally, Jr., and Helen E. (Tupy) Fertally. Frank was also predeceased by; sister, Monica Bernadette Teprovich; brother, John C. Fertally III; close friend, Helen Suhina, and his faithful German Shorthair Pointer, Nifty.

Surviving are; son, Scott Fertally and his wife Glory; daughters, Tracy Fertally and her companion David, Laura Banta; sisters, Becky Vasinda, Susan Fertally; god daughter, and niece, Dr. Jennifer Vasinda; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, A Niece and several nephews also survive Frank.

A Weatherly High School graduate, Frank served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He attended Penn State University, and was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly. An avid outdoorsman, Frank belonged to Silver Ridge Sportsman Club in Weatherly. An avid traveler, Frank enjoyed long rides in his car taking in the scenery.

Frank was an Independent Certified Life Underwriter and registered Broker/Producer for numerous companies. He provided good care and service to his many Clients, and was a well respected professional.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Frank's Life will be held at 11 o'clock A.M. on Friday October 8, 2021 from Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. located at 318 Plane Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. Friends will be received in church from 9:30 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. Msgr. William Baker to officiate. Military honors to be bestowed

Future Interment will be in S.S. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Coxeville, Pennsylvania.
