Miss Frances L. Henry, age 82, of Tamaqua, Pa., died Saturday, January 29, 2011, at home.
Frances, was a member of the former First Presbyterian Church of Tamaqua, having served as choir director.
A Tamaqua High School graduate, she matriculated to West Chester Teachers College, and then earned post graduate degrees from University of Pennsylvania, and Eastern Michigan University.
A member of the Daughters of the Revolution, Chi Omega Fraternity, and the Schuylkill Republican Club.
Frances owned Henry Diversified Services, a financial consulting firm in Tamaqua.
Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late Urban F. and Daphine (Womack) Henry.
She was also preceded in death by her companion of 54 years, Miss Lylah S.B. Hanson on October 2, 2004.
