Floretta Mae Stauffer, 89 of Quakake Road Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at home.
Widow of Clifford J. Stauffer who passed away on Sept 9, 2014, she is survived by; son, Elmer L. Stauffer and his wife Ann Marie of Nesquehoning; grand children, Sarah, Kelly, Michael; great grand children, Haliley and Gabriel.
A graduate of Rock Glenn High School, Floretta was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Weatherly. She enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting, making rag carpets and knitting. Floretta was an excellent baker and liked to garden. In Floretta's younger days she enjoyed fishing.
Born Friday, April 5, 1929 in BlackCreek , Luzerne County, the daughter of the late Lester Foose and the late Anna (Homernick) Foose.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. (570) 427-4231
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 21, 2018 at 11 o'clock AM from the funeral home, Rev. Robert VonFrisch to officiate.
Friends shall be received on Monday evening August 20, 2018 from 6 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and on the morning of services from 10:00 A.M. until time of services. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Zion Grove, Pennsylvania.
