Florence J. Zahay, 86, of Weatherly passed away Wednesday at Weatherwood Nursing Home.
Born in Dorrance, March 20, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Michael J. and Mary Vanderlick Rimshaw.
She retired as a supervisor from the White Haven Center.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband Frank "Zeke" Zahay; a daughter Deborah Flytuda; Grandchildren Johnny Derr, James McAuley, and Shayla Bird.
She is survived by 3 daughters Evelyn McAuley of Morganton, NC; Darlene Altrichter of Slatington; Robin Sims of Weatherly; 6 Grandchilren Angela Dalrymple, April Walters, Josey Kelley, Robert E. Sims, Bruce Altrichter, Arielle Versteegh; 9 Great Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Weatherly.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Shayla Bird Memorial Scholarship Fund c/o April Walters 143 Walters Lane Weatherly, PA 18255.
