Florence Mary Weaver

Florence Mary (Werner) Weaver, age 94, of Tamaqua, died Sunday, November 3, 2013, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.

Widow of Daniel Edward Weaver, who died on July 25, 1988.

A 1936 Tamaqua High School graduate, Florence also was a 1938 graduate of the McCann' School of Business. She worked for Tam- Pallet in the office until 1984.

Florence was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Tamaqua, where she was active in the United Church Women, she was also a life member of the Tamaqua Legion Auxillary.

Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Anne (Jacobs) Werner.

She is survived by her;

Daughter,
Linda (Weaver) Whetstone wife of Bruce of Tamaqua;

Two grandchildren, Jeff Whetstone and his wife Kate of E. Greenville, and Jillian Whetstone of Harrisburg;

Two great-grandchildren, Michael and Mary Whetstone;

Sister,
Anne Elizabeth "Dit" (Werner) Breach of Harrisburg;

Preceded in death by her son John S. Weaver on December 2, 2009.
