Evelyn M. (Mehalshick) Ehrenfried, age 74, of Lauderburn Ave. Weatherly, died Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Mountain City Health and Rehab in Hazleton.
Survived by her husband of 46 years, David A. Ehrenfried.
Evelyn was A 1956 Weatherly High School graduate. Evelyn had worked at Tung-Sol of Weatherly.
A member of Centenary United Methodist Church of Weatherly, Evelyn was membership Secretary of the church, and active in the Shepard House Food Pantry of Weathery.
Born in McAdoo, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Mehalshick) Frey, who died on January 29, 2012.
She is also survived by her,
One Daughter,
Holly L. (Ehrenfried) Ehrenfried of Northampton;
Two Brothers,
Gordon Frey and his wife Catherine of Easton,
Frankln Peiser of Weatherly;
Nieces, and nephews;
Preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Alice Peiser.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home,11 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries F.D., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 20, 2012.
Funeral service 11 o'clock A.M. from the funeral home, Rev. Charles Englehart to officiate.
Interment will be at Union Cemetery of Weatherly.
