Mr. Eugene F. Eroh, age 86, of Monroe Street Weatherly, Pa., died Friday, February 25, 2011, at Weatherwood, in Weatherly, Pa.
A self employed painting contractor, Eugene was an acomplished fly fisherman, and woodworker.
A WWII Coast Guard veteran, he was a member of the Weatherly American Legion, and V.F.W. Posts, and affiliated with the First Presbyterian Church of Weatherly.
Eugene , and his wife Pat, were founding members of the Slate Run Sportsmen's Club in Lycoming County.
Born in Weatherly, he was the son of the late Henry L. and Sarah (Hinkle) Eroh.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia (Cowell) Eroh;
One Sister,
Betty (Eroh) Swartley of Haddonfield, Pa.;
Two Brothers,
Pastor David Eroh, and his wife Carol, and Henry Eroh both of Weatherly;
Nieces, and nephews;
Preceded in death by brothers, Charles, and Philip, who both died in WWII, Gerald, Allan, and Willard; sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Kauffman, and Mrs. Jane Wagner.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First Street, Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries F.D./Sup. where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, March 3, 2011.
Funeral service will be at Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 3, 2011, Rev. Glen R. Hueholt officiating.
Interment with Military Honors, Union Cemetery of Weatherly.
