Ethel (Gunther) Felker, age 92, of Arlington Street Tamaqua, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Ctr. in Coaldale.
Widow of Harry F. Felker, who died on December 10, 1997.
Ethel was a Tamaqua High School graduate. She worked as a clerk for the former Scheids Department Store of Tamaqua, and for Brights of Lansford.
A talented artist, Ethel was a Past Matron of the Tamaqua Order of the Eastern Star, also belonging to the Tamaqua Women's Club.
Born in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late Rush Davis Gunther and the late Edith Eva (Bailey) Gunther.
She is survived by her

Judy (Felker) Barron wife of Robert of Tamaqua with whom she resided;

Harry Felker of Tempe, Ariz.;
Three grandchildren;
Six great-grandchildren;
Two great-great grandchildren;
Preceded in death by her grandchildren, Jessica Felker in 1993, and Jennifer (Barron) McArdle in 2008; brothers, Mr. Henry B. Gunther, Mr. Rush B. Gunther, Mr. Harrison G. Gunther; sisters, Mrs. Ida Boner, Mrs. Clara
Donahue, and Miss Florence Gunther.
