Mrs. Esther F. (Bott) Clark, age 96, of Tamaqua, Pa., formerly of Hazleton, and Bethlehem, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Hometown Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Tamaqua.

Cathoic by faith, Esther was a Hazleton High School graduate.

During WWII Esther worked for the government in Virginia, and then she worked as a book keeper for Sure-Fit of Bethlehem, Pa.,

Upon retiring, Esther volunteered at Holy Family Manor of Bethlehem.

Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Verecondo and Dora (Genetti) Bott.

She is survived by her caregiver, and niece, Maureen E. Donovan and her husband William of Tamaqua;

One Sister,
Helen (Bott) Hume of Raleigh, N.C.;

Nieces, and nephews

Preceded in death by her husband, John A. Clark in 1980; brother, Henry Bott; sisters, Mrs. Anna Pillanato, Mrs. Agnes Yorke, and Mrs. Emma Zamko.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.,

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C., 307 Pine Street, at 2 o'clock PM Friday, July 29, 2011, Rev. William Linkchorst to officiate.

Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery of Weston, Pa.
