Mr. Enmanuel Vega, age 21, of Coaldale, Pa., died Sunday, May 17, 2009, in Nesquehoning, Pa.
A 2006 Panther Valley High School graduate, Eman, was a standout football player, and member of the school Power Lifting Team. He participated in track, wrestling, and basketball for PV. As a youth in Tamaqua, Eman played Little League Baseball, and Babe Ruth ball with the Tamaqua Baseball Assoc..
He was a member of the Jehovah Wittnesses Kingdom Hall of Tamaqua.
Born in Puerto Rico, he is the son of Eliezer Vega and Elizabeth "Lissy" Santos, with whom he resided.
He is survived by his
Two Brothers,
Eliazar "Eli" Vega, Joshua Vega both living at home;
Paternal grandparents, Maria Chavez, and Victor Vega of Puerto Rico;
Maternal grandfather, Jose A. Santos of Puerto Rico;
Many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2009 and from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 20, 2009.
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 20, 2009.
