Emma Lou Scheitrum

Emma Lou (Herring) Scheitrum, age 84, of Laurel Road Tamaqua, died Monday, January 28, 2013, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.

Widow of Ralph C. Scheitrum, who died on May 12, 2004.

A Coaldale High School graduate, Emma was a member of T.O.P.S. of Tamaqua.

Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Marion (Richards) Herring.

She is survived by her

Three Sons,
Benjamin C, Scheitrum with whom she resided,
David O. Scheitrum and his wife Bonnie,
Kevin R. Scheitrum both of Tamaqua;

One Brother,
Charles Herring and his wife Blanche of Lake Hauto, Nesquehoning;

Five grandchildren
Five great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, February 1, 2013.

Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc. at 2:00 PM Friday, February 1, 2013.

Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park in Tamaqua.
