It is with great sadness the family of Emily A. Holland, announce the untimely death of their precious daughter, sister, grandchild and niece due to complications from Postpartum Depression. Emily died on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at home with her mother, she was 21 years of age.
Born Friday, January 11, 2002 in Pottsville, Emily is survived by; mother Christine M. Zaprazny and her step-dad Joseph Dabashinsky; father, Robert Holland and her step-mom Sezen; son, Marti Harlow Wicker and his daddy, Austin Wicker. Her late brother Austin H.Hillbish who preceded her in June of 2017, her brothers, Tucker C. Sterner, Atilla Holland and step-brother Joseph C. Dabashinsky; sisters, Allison M. Hillbish, Maria E. Sterner, Liya Holland and step-sisters Jessica Dabashinsky, wife of Scott Cramer and Tara Dabashinsky; maternal grandfather, Daniel G. Zaprazny Sr. and his companion Peggy Latshaw; paternal grandmother, Anna Heckman; Aunt Melissa and Uncle Anthony Lynam, Aunt Stacey and Uncle Paul Mickley uncles, Joseph Holland, Randy, and James Gilson; first cousins Nikki Edmonds and Jason Edmonds and his wife, Kati, first cousins Ashton, Aubrielle, Malin, Dawson, Alaina, Bailey, Maverick, Levi, Avrie, Benham, Jolynn, Carter, little Sophia and many extended Aunts, Uncles, cousins and countless friends also survive Emily. Also, predeceased by her maternal Meme, Marie E. Zaprazny, who just adored her and called her, her little princess, her Uncle Daniel and cousin Rylan.
A 2020 Blue Mountain High School graduate, Emily was the Art President, participant in school plays, and played varsity basketball. An old soul, Emily was referred to as her family's and friends "Hippie" girl. She was extremely artistic, painting canvases, writing poetry, journaling, singing and dabbling in songwriting. She was a bright ray of sunshine to all that had the pleasure to love her.
A doting mother who's world revolved around her son Marti; however, Emily suffered the devastating effects of Postpartum Depression. Supported by all those who loved her, Emily attempted to battle this illness, for every fiber of her soul was devoted to her son whom she adored.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the New Ringgold Fire Hall on Sunday, December 17, from 12:00 until 5:00. Feel free to bring a covered dish. All are welcome including children.
