Elmer Joseph Yuscyk

May 17, 1933 — September 23, 2013

Elmer J Yuscyk of Walnut St., Tuscarora, died Monday, September 23, 2013, at Lebanon Valley Medical Center, Lebanon, Pa.

He was an U.S. Marines Korean War veteran.

Elmer worked as a border patrol agent, for the U.S. Treasury, various construction jobs and he was a prospector along with being an avid outdoorsman.

He was a graduate of Tamaqua High School and the University of Idaho.

Born in Middleport, he was the son of the late Joseph Yuscyk and the late Mae(Evans) Yuscyk.

He is survived by his

One Sister,
Sandra Orlowsky wife of Robert of York, Pa.;

Aunt, Eva Evans of Schuylkill Haven;

Uncle, Russell R. Evans of Tamaqua;

Nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive him;

Nephew,
Gary Feathers and his wife Michele who were his caregivers;

Preceded in death by his sister, Beverly J. Feathers on 2-6-1988.

Private arrangements are being handled by the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, Pa.

Private interment at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Tamaqua.
