Born Tuesday, August 11, 1942 in Orange, New Jersey the daughter of the late Gilbert and Lottie (Rutkiewicz) Van Buskirk. She was also predeceased by; sisters, Ruthie Guarriello, Carol Palmer.
Surviving are sons, Michael Turpin and his wife, Jessica of Coaldale, Timothy Turpin and his wife, Tammy of Lehighton; daughter, Gail Turpin and her companion Cassandra Howell of Minersville; brothers, Gilbert VanBuskirk and his wife Sally, Billy Van Buskirk and his wife, Holly, sisters, Rita Stiles and her husband, Don, Mariann Van Buskirk Faria and her husband Paul; grand children, Kristen, Jesse, Megan, Michael, Brianna, Amanda, Jenna, Alexa, Deven; great grand child, Anthony.
Catholic by faith, Elizabeth enjoyed being with family and socializing with friends. A news junkie, Elizabeth could often be found sipping coffee while watching old TV shows.
