Elizabeth "Betty" Hartley - Duser, "The Queen", 91yrs of age of Second Street, Weatherly, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Weatherwood Nurisng & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Weatherly, Pennsylvania with her family by her side.

Survived by her husband of 41 years, Ronald C. Duser, "The King"; daughter, Betty Ann (Hartley) Hart wife of John of Weatherly; step-son Ronald Michael Duser and his wife Sharon of White Haven; sisters, Mrs. Anna Wiegand, and Mrs. Helen Eroh both of Hazleton; grandchildren, Michele (Hart) Budzick and her husband Tony, Kelly (Hart) Myer and her husband Lonnie, Joy (Hart) Gregory and her husband Troy, great grandchildren, Christian, Madalyn, Noah, Sadie, Sophie, Lily, Hartley; one step grandchild; many nieces and nephews.

Betty was a doting mother and grandmother.

Born Friday, April 23, 1926 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Charles, and Anna (Salfko) Prokopic. She was also predeceased by; first husband, William I. Hartley, Jr. in 1974; son, William I. Hartley III in 2016; sister, Mary Marcinkevich; brothers, Charles, Michael, Edward, and George Prokopic.

A Hazleton High School graduate, Betty retired from the Weatherly School District working as a custodian. She and Ron where avid supporters of all Wrecker Athletics. They where recognized for their support by the Weatherly Hall of Fame.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services of 211 First Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255. (570) 427-4231.

A Funeral service will be held on Saturday February 10, 2018 at 11 o'clock A.M from the funeral home. Friends may call on Friday evening February 9, 2018 from 5 to 7:00 P.M..

Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
