Elizabeth J. (James) Lewis, age 95, formerly of Lansford, died Monday, November 25, 2013, at Luther Crest in Allentown.
Widow of Robert F. Lewis who died in 1980.
A member of the former English Congregational Church of Lansford, Elizabeth was a 1936 Lansford High School graduate.
She enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends, and was a member of the former Mahoning Valley Country Club.
Born in Lansford, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Ada (Jenkins) James.
She is survived by her;
Daughter,
Wendy (Lewis) Kulick wife of Michael of Lehighton;
Son,
Robert R. Lewis and his wife Virginia of Alpharetta, Ga.;
Four grandchildren,
Eight great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Gull, and Mrs. Virginia Richards.
Private Arrangements are being handled by Holmes - Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa. 18252
Interment will be at Grand Army Cemetery in Summit Hill.
