Elizabeth M (Young) Hittinger, mother, sister, grandmother, age 91 , of James Buchanan Dr., Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Masonic Home in Elizabethtown.
She was the widow of Elvin D. Hittinger and Rodger Sacks.
Elizabeth worked the concession stand for years at several Hazleton drive-ins and worked in retail for W.T. Grants in New Jersey.
Elizabeth was affiliated with Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church of Weatherly and was a 1943 graduate of Weatherly High School.
A member and past Matron of the Eastern Star in NJ, she was a former President of the Rebekah Lodge in NJ, and an Amaranth while residing in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
She was an avid card player and enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Born in Weatherly on June 1, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Young and the late Mabel (Rosenstock) Young. She was also predeceased by; son, Elvin (David) Hittinger Jr; brothers, John, Harvey, Roger and Bill Young.

Four Great-Grandchildren,
Joshua, Jake, Abby and Benny.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11 o'clock AM at the Masonic Home 1 Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown PA., Pastor A. Preston Van Deursen to officiate. Friends may call from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
Additional calling hours will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 11-12 noon at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Graveside Interment Service will take place on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 12:30PM at Union Cemetery, Weatherly.
