Mrs. Elizabeth (Main) Hinkle, age 95, of Weatherly, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Weatherwood Nursing Home, Weatherly, Pa.
She was a member of Zion Evanglical Lutheran Church of Weatherly.
Elizabeth had previously worked in the textile industry.
Born in Tamaqua, she was the daughter of the late John Main and the late Christine Main.
She is survived by her
two daughters,
Sandra (Hinkle) Heisler wife of Robert of E. Berlin, Pa. and
Debra (Hinkle) Bond of Perris, CA
two sons,
Morris Hinkle of Weatherly and
John Hinkle and his wife Sharon of Mountainhome, Pa.
thirteen grandchildren
twenty great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband in 1980, Gordon W. Hinkle; son, Richard T. Hinkle on 10-19-1997; brothers, Arthur, Simon, John and Reynold; sisters, Emma Weiss and Adelene Weicker.
Arrangements are being handled by Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, 211 First St., Weatherly, Pa., Philip J. Jeffries, F.D., Supervisor, where the family will receive friends on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 10-11 AM.
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home, Reverend Richard Hinkle officiating.
Interment at Union Cemetery of Weatherly.
