Elizabeth Idabel (Zimmerman) Hartman, age 84, of Clay St.,Tamaqua, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at St. Luke's Miners Memorial in Coaldale.
She was the widow of Bruce F. Hartman who died in 1984.
Idabel was a member of Trinity U.C.C. of Tamaqua where she was active in the choir.
A 1950 graduate of Tamaqua High School, she enjoyed to crochet and play piano. She was a homemaker.
Born in Ringtown, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Zimmerman and the late Emily M. (Zimmerman) Zimmerman.
She is survived by her
Daughters,
Alice Katherine Hartman and Barbara R. Hartman with whom she resided.
She was preceded in death by her son, David B. Hartman in 2006; brothers, Harland and Darwin Zimmerman; sister, Louise McKeon.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa., where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, January 18, 2016.
Funeral service will be at E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services at 11:00 AM, Monday, January 18, 2016, Pastor Darryl E. Kensinger to officiate.
Interment will be at Sky View Memorial Park, Tamaqua.
