Elizabeth A. "Betty" Dickman

July 31, 1935 — January 11, 2024

Elizabeth A. "Betty" Dickman, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, 88 years of age formerly of Summit Hill, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 11, 2024, as a guest of Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Lehighton, Pennsylvania.

Born Wednesday, July 31, 1935 in Nesquehoning, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John, and Anna (Stianche) Pisklak. Betty was also predeceased by her; husband, John J. Dickman; sister, Constance Kovacs and her late husband James; grandson Russell M Dominic.

Surviving are daughters, JoAnn Dominic wife of David, Allentown, Juliann Gieniec, Summit Hill, Elizabeth Kohr, New Jersey, 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother, John Pisklak, and his wife Tambria; sisters, Ann Marie Lill and her late husband George, Marilyn Pisklak and her companion Arty Saylor. Many nieces and nephews also survive Betty.

A Coaldale High School graduate, Betty was a cashier for over 50 years beginning with Genetti's, the A&P and retired from Redners Market.
She was an avid golfer at the MVCC and was part of a ladies league at White Birch golf course for many years.

Since retiring, she continued to enjoy being outdoors, anywhere in the sunshine, especially by the water, enjoying the lake and a long time favorite Long Beach Island NJ, where she vacationed every summer for many years and most recently became an avid Bingo player and of course Facebook where she enjoyed viewing friends and family virtually. She was a member of St. Joseph's R.C.C. of the Panther Valley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday January 23, 2024 at 11 o'clock A.M. from St. Joseph's Parish of the Panther Valley 462 West Ludlow Street Summit Hill, Pennsylvania 18250. Friends may call in church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass.
