Elio was a self employed electrician operating E & D Electrical Service. He previously owned, and operated Ace General Electric Corp on Staten Island, NY and several luncheonettes and a restaurant.
Elio was a man of great accomplishments but also great love! He lived each day in search of bettering his place in the world, not just for him, but for those around him as well. Whether that included changing a light fixture, or his passion for cooking, he was always willing and able to be there for his loved ones and share a wonderful meal to all that knew him!
Elio was a well-rounded man, not without his flaws, but one who embraced them, and used
them to motivate him in life. He was an avid storyteller, and always strived to find beauty in all parts of his life. He enjoyed the outdoors and nature, and without fail, he was always tending to his plants in a way so gentle and caring, that it would revive them no matter how far gone they seemed. He was like this with his plants, but with the people surrounding him as well. To describe him in one word, he was love. He leaves behind a mark of love and warmth to everyone he crossed paths with and so his memory lives on within his family and friends.
Elio was a longtime member of Gateway Cathedral on Staten Island since 1976 and after moving to Pennsylvania, was affiliated with Christ Evangelical Free Church of Lehighton.
