Eleanor M. "Dutch" Roberts

Eleanor M. "Dutch" Roberts, mother, grandmother, mom-mom, 92 years of age of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at Orwigsburg Center in Orwigsburg. Widow of David Roberts, she is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Claudia M. Davidson wife of Paul of Wilburton, and Mrs. Sandra D. Kleckner wife of Tim of Tamaqua; grand children, Joshua D. Kleckner, Susan E. Anderson, and Jamie E. Kleckner; great grandchildren, Brylee, Austin, Haley, Sydnee, and Kendall. A member of Trinity U.C.C. of Tamaqua, Dutch had worked at the former Girard Mills in Tamaqua as a trimmer, and table worker retiring in 1987. She was an active member of the South Ward Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and reliable volunteer for their catering society. A founding member of Tamaqua Crime Watch, she continued her public service as an active volunteer of the R.S.V.P. organization in Tamaqua. Dutch, was also a member of the Tamaqua Senior Citizens. Born Monday, October 8, 1923 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania daughter of the late Claud P., and Della (Fink) Heisler, she was also predeceased by sisters, Mrs. Marie Evans, Mrs. Dorothy Zubey, and Mrs. Mildred Gallagher.
