Eleanor Arner

Mrs. Eleanor (Berk) Arner, age 90, of Blakeslee Blvd., Lehighton, died Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Pinebrooke Personal Care Center in Orwigsburg.

She was the widow of Francis A. Arner who passed away 11-30-2004.

Eleanor was a member of Ben Salem UCC of Lehighton.

She was a homemaker and had previously worked in the textile industry.

Born in New Ringgold, she was the daughter of the late Henry Berk and the late Hattie S. (Gerber) Berk.

She is survived by her

Mildred B Fegley of Hamburg;

Brother,
Dr. Floyd K Berk and his wife Romayne of Montauk, NY;

Brothers-in-law,
Harry Strack and Calvin Arner, Jr.;

Sister-in-law,
Mary (Arner) Daniels;

Nephews and Nieces.

Preceded in death by her sisters, Elsie Hafer, Luella Berk, Jean Strack, Fern Berk and Mary Berk; brothers, Carl, Richard, Harold and Herbert Berk.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, Inc., 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pa.

Funeral Service will be on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 11 o'clock AM at Ben Salem UCC 1965 Church Hill Rd., Lehighton, Pa., Rev. Michael McGowan to officiate. Call from 10 AM until time of service at the church.

Interment at St. Peter's UCC Cemetery, Mantzville, Pa.
