Elda Eva Gerber

Elda E. Gerber of West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully Monday October 23, 2017 at St. Luke's Miners Memorial Medical Center Coaldale, with her family by her side at the age of 97.  Survived by her devoted husband of 77 years, Ralph J. Gerber; beloved daughters, Janice Rudy wife of Walter of Delaware, and Rhea A. Steigerwalt wife of Gerald of New Ringgold; grandchildren, Aaron Steigerwalt and his wife Jennifer, Audra and her husband Tyler Schlecht, Jr., Alison wife of Lance Lane, Michael Rudy and his wife Cheryl; great grandchildren, Noah, Mikayah, Theron, Trenton, and Payton. A member of Zion Stone Church of West Penn Township, Elda worked in the Textile Industry.  She enjoyed gardening, doing cross stitch quilts, and crocheting. Born in West Penn Township the daughter of the late Morris and Eva Shellhamer.  She was also predeceased by sisters, Katherine Delp, Carrie Miller, Alberta Gerber, Mildred Oswald; brothers, Charles, Paul, and Loyd Shellhamer. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert S.
