Elaine Ruth Buonaiuto of Weatherly 86 years of age died Monday, February 24, 2014 at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr., Weatherly.
Preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Buonaiuto in 1990.
A Lehighton High School graduate, Elaine was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. of Weatherly.
Elaine was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grand mother who enjoyed the company of her family. Elaine was a baker, and liked word games. Elaine bestowed her hobbies to her grandchildren, teaching them the fun of scrabble, and how to bake the perfect Christmas cookie.
Born in Lehighton, the daughter of the late William and Anna (Ritter) Rogal.
She is survived by her;
Daughters: Jane M. (Greber) Mascelli wife of Thomas of Kingston, Anne M. Donadi wife of George of Tresckow;
Sons: Joseph Greber and his wife Diane of Quakertown , Frank Buonaiuto and his wife Christa of Weatherly;
Brother: Thomas Rogal and his wife Mary , Lehighton;
Twelve grandchildren; Stephanie O'Donnell, Brian O'Donnell, Kristen Ritter, Jennifer Howard, Sara Mascelli, Rachel Moyer, Justin Greber, Alexis Greber, Thomas Greber, Rosemary Miller, Walter Greber, and Gianna Buonaiuto;
Ten Great-grandchildren, Gabe, Troy, Sophie, Wylie Sue, Caitlin, Jimmy, Nathan, Chelsea, Joey, and Molly;
Nieces and nephews also survive her.
Preceded in death by her; Son, Thomas Greber in 2004; sisters, Jane Rogal and Dorothy Nifong; Brother: William Rogal.
Philip J. Jeffries Funeral Home and Cremation Services 211 First Street Weatherly, PA is in charge of services.
Friends may call Friday evening February 28, 2014 from 6 to 8:00 P.M.. from the funeral home, and on Sat. March 1, 2014 from 8:45 A.M. until 9:30 A.M.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. 318 Plane Street Weatherly, Pa. at 10 o'clock A.M., Rev. Floyd Caesar to officiate.
Interment, St. Nicholas R.C.C. Cemetery, Weatherly.
