Miss Eileen D. Dale, age 85, formerly of Lansford, Pa., died Saturday, December 25, 2010, at Weatherwood Nursing & Rehabilitaion Ctr. in Weatherly, Pa.
She was a former member of St. Ann's R.C.C. of Lansford.
Eileen was a graduate of St. Ann's High School, Lansford, Pa. She earned a nursing diploma from Georgetown University, a BS in Nursing from the University of San Diego and earned a Masters Degree in Nursing.
She taught nursing in the 1960's at Loyola University and was a private duty nurse in the 70's and 80's.
Born in Lansford, she was the daughter of the late James and Bridget (Boyle) Dale.
She is survived by her
One Sister,
Mrs. Mary (Dale) Gildea of California;
Nieces, and nephews;
Preceded in death by brothers, James, Keiran, Regis, and Thomas Dale; sister, Mrs. Bernadine (Dale) Larkin.
Arrangements are being handled by Holmes - Griffiths Funeral Home, Inc., 200 East Bertsch Street, Lansford, Pa..

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday January 8, 2011, at 1 o'clock P.M. from St. Joseph's R.C.C. 462 West Ludlow Street Summit Hill, Pa. 18250.
Interment will be at St. Joe's R.C.C. Cemetery.
