Edward M. Hoffman, 58 years of age, succumbed to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident in Tobyhanna Township on Sunday evening October 22, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center, Scranton.
Survived by his wife of sixteen years, Michele (Maleski) Hoffman; daughter, Kristin Napolitano and her husband Daniel; brothers, Dewain F. Hoffman and his wife Julie of Roy, UT; Robin J. Hoffman and his wife Kimberly of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Barbara Andrews wife of Robert of Poughkeepsie, NY; grand children, Eric, and Rose; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Born Wednesday, October 14, 1959 in Portsmith, Virginia, son of the late Dewain, and Shirely (Winnie) Hoffman.
Ed served honorably in the United States Navy for thirty years. Serving during the Kuwait Liberation and many other deployments. Upon retirement, Ed worked security at Tobyhanna Army Depot.
Ed was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a talented Gun Smith. Ed enjoyed the freedom of riding his Harley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 o'clock PM on Saturday October 28, 2017 from Our Lady of Lourdes R.C.C. located at 318 Plane Street Weatherly, Pennsylvania 18255.
Interment with Military honors St. Nicholas R.C.C. Cemetery, Weatherly, Pennsylvania.
