Edward P. "Butch" Brode, 74 years of age, formerly of Tamaqua Pennsylvania died on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton Campus.
Born Tuesday, July 1, 1947 in Coaldale, Pennsylvania the son of the late Charles E., and Elizabeth "Lizzy" (Belsak) Brode. Butch was also predeceased by his wife Alicia M. (Klatka) Brode on May 19, 2014; brother, Charles Brode.
Surviving are daughter, Heather D. (Brode) Nunemacher wife of Tom of Tamaqua and her children, Kelsey, and Sarah Massar; step son, Joseph M. Bones and his wife Holly their children, Ella, and Ady; step-daughter, Maria T. Burke and her husband Randall, their son Nash; step brother, Robert Brode. Cousins, nieces, nephews,and extended family and friends also survive Butch.
A Tamaqua Area High School graduate, Butch matriculated to Steven's Trade School in Lancaster earning his certification in Masonry. Butch worked in the Masonry field for many years. Butch served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.
Butch enjoyed shooting pool and the friendship on his German Shepherds.
