Edward A Blonsky, age 74, of East Elm St.,Tamaqua, died Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Mahoning Valley Nursing Home, Lehighton.
After retiring from the Tamaqua Borough Street Dept., Edward worked as a greeter at Walmart.
He was a member of SS. Peter & Paul R.C.C., Tamaqua where he was a member of the Holy Name Society.
Edward was a Tamaqua Area High School graduate and he enjoyed hunting.
Born in Coaldale on August 8, 1940, he was the son of the late Anthony and Mary (Praskac) Blonsky.
He is survived by his
Sister-in-law,
Jeanne M. (Murphy) Blonsky of Tamaqua;
Niece,
Kate L. Blonsky.
Preceded in death by his brother, Thomas A. Blonsky on 2-27-2013.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 655 East Broad Street Tamaqua, Pa.
Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Sky View Memorial Park 108 Lafayette Ave., Tamaqua, PA at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 11, 2015.
